DONORS:
FISH WELCOMES FOOD DONATIONS
FISH appreciates your contribution of nonperishable food items as the supply chain for purchasing bulk groceries is still unreliable. We are grateful for food donations any time that we are open, but the best times for our volunteers is TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 10:00 am to 3 pm. We can also arrange other delivery times by prior arrangement: email fishwilliamsburg@gmail.com.
Food donors can use the last sidewalk from the parking lot and place food donations in the shopping carts inside the depository. Receipts are available if needed - come to the main FISH entrance if you need a cart or other assistance. If you have brought items from a food drive or special event, we’d like to recognize your efforts and thoughtfulness, so please leave a note with name, address and event, or email information to fishwilliamsburg@gmail.com.
We cannot accept donations of used clothing or household items yet.
Please check back for updated information, or email fishwilliamsburg@gmail.com and we will notify you as soon as we re-start clothing donations. Financial donations are always needed; as an all-volunteer organization, your gifts directly support service to our neighbors in need in the Greater Williamsburg area.
YOU MAY EMAIL QUESTIONS TO fishwilliamsburg@gmail.com.
WE WILL RETURN TO "NORMAL" SERVICE AS SOON AS CONDITIONS ALLOW.

Mission
FISH, Inc. of Williamsburg, Virginia, is an all-volunteer not-for-profit agency providing help to residents of the greater Williamsburg area. FISH depends entirely upon a caring community for food, clothing, volunteers and financial donations, in order to serve our neighbors in need. While FISH was founded by local religious organizations, FISH does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender or national origin.
During 2019, FISH provided food equivalent to over 183,000 meals; 9,700 outfits of clothing; and housewares to 664 homes. In 2019, 367 households asked for assistance from FISH for the first time. Overall, our volunteers served 4,302 requests for assistance in 2019. These statistics do not include the ways that FISH helps fight hunger in partnership with other community organizations; read more about FISH's "expanded footprint" on the Services page.
